Micro World Into Macro Painting Workshop

Bright Olive Gallery

Saturday October 9, 2010, Sunday October 10, 2010
1:30-4:30 PM

This 3 hour course, on Saturday OR Sunday, is so exciting and therapeutic at the same time! I have been focusing on this type of work for the last year and have had amazing results since day one. You will see the exciting structure of the cellular plant world and learn how to turn that into large paintings. Cells have structure, intuitive paintings do not. The crossover from the logical mind to the subconscious is easier than you think. You will be guided in the process by viewing cellular structure and transforming that into a very intuitive form of painting. Combining science and art, you will find the combination lends to artwork you never thought you could do. Think recent Cy Twombly...
10% of the class fees will go to a Neuroblastoma research non-profit organization.
